On the weekend of October 28th, our Troop went on the Intro to Backpacking campout on the Wilderness Trail at Meramec State Park. 13 scouts went on this trip of which 9 were first time backpackers! It was also a freeze-out, with many of the scouts earning their first freeze out patch. Everybody had a blast and learned a lot about backpacking!
