Congratulations to James Karslake for receiving the William T. Hornaday Badge for conservation! His service project lasted a year, totaled about 475 hours and included researching the best soil conditions to plant native plants, removing honeysuckle, planting over 100 native plants and educating the community about invasive species. About 90 of these badges are awarded annually and James is the first Scout in our council to be given this award in five years.
