On the weekend of October 11th-13th, two patrols’ worth of our Scouts, joined by two Webelos, attended the annual Fall Camporee at Beaumont. The theme this year was “Scooby-Doo,” and “Zoinks!” was it cold. Regardless, everyone had a great time participating in the many fun activities there, such as orienteering, Ultimate Frisbee, and Scooby-Doo trivia. The Scouts especially enjoyed our side trip to “Cub World,” the Beaumont playground; and in their downtime, they even built a working ballista out of wooden poles! To cap it all off, our younger Scout patrol won 2nd place in skit competition. Great job everyone, and we’re looking forward to returning to Beaumont for the Spring Camporee!
