On the weekend of February 12th, Troop 344 did our annual Urban Hike, an 11 mile hike across downtown St. Louis. Before the hike began that Saturday morning, we met at Soulard Market, where we could kick start the day with some good food. It didn’t take long for us to move out and get on our way. Walking around downtown, we stopped at interesting landmarks such as the Toy Museum and Busch Stadium. Then, we continued on our way, reaching the Arch. We took a break from our pace when we stopped by the Soldiers Memorial to rest, but not long after we were back at Soulard Market to begin the second half of the hike, where we couldn’t deny ourselves a great lunch at Bogart’s Smokehouse. The hike went on, but the exercise worked up an appetite, something that Gus’s Pretzels was happy to help with. This snack drove us past the Budweiser factory we saw and onward to Soulard one last time to end this great hike.
