On February 13, 2026, Troop 344 departed from Ladue Middle School on the way to Alabama. We first visited historic sites in Memphis, and then we continued to our cabin in Jackson, Mississippi. There were 9 scouts and 3 adults. On Day 2, Troop 344 drove to the USS Alabama battleship, where we slept in bunk beds held up by two chains and a pole. We also explored other war vehicles like the USS Drum, an old war submarine. On Day 3, we checked out the museums in Jackson before heading back to the cabins, where we ate dinner and played games. On Day 4, we went home, returning on President’s Day from a new and fun trip the troop organized.
