The troop went trout fishing at Maramec Spring Park in May 2026. There were 13 scouts on this trip. Everyone had to buy a daily trout tag at the camp store. A siren sounded to start fishing in the morning and to call it off in the evening. We could fish along the Meramec River, and there was a bridge across the river that scouts also used for fishing. In addition to the planned meals, we cleaned and fried a lot of fish.
